Police schools

FAISALABAD: The district police is mulling to set up new schools in Samundri and Tandlianwala Town and a four-member committee has been
constituted in this regard.

This was decided at the management meeting of the Police Lines School
that was chaired by the City Police Officer, Sohail Habib Tajik.

The participants were informed that currently as many as 958 children
of policemen were enrolled in the school. Children of policemen upto
grade 9 are paying 25 percent and above grade employees are paying 50
percent of the school.

It was decided that evening classes would be initiated in the schools
that would also be upgraded to college in next year.

The CPO also formed a committee comprising SSP (ops) Ameer Abdullah
Niazi, SP (admn) Maryam Naheed, DSP Headquarters Rana Arshad and
school Principal Sadia Saqib for selection of land in Samundri and
Tandlianwala for establishments of schools.
